Why can’t we just love?
Why can’t we all just love? Why is the world full of so much hate? Why can;t people just be accepted for who they truly are? Why do people have to be fake to be accepted?
So many people are hurting everyday because they are having their children taken away from them, or they have an addiction that has overwhelmed their bodiesand they feel like there is no way out.
If only these people felt loved….they could replace those things with love. God loved us unconditionally. why can’t we love like that? Why can’t we look past the past? why can’t we look past the color of skin? why can’t we see people for who they truly are?
Love sees no color.
Love sees no boundaries.
Just the beginning.
Well today is the beginning of my tumblr experience.
I’m awake at 3:24 because I can’t sleep. Dreams of winterguard keep me restless. Our first show is this weekend and I’m super excited. A girl on winterguard sent us this quote…
“Don’t lower your expectations to meet your performance. Raise your level of performance to meet your expectations. Expect the best of yourself, and then do what is necessary to make it a reality.”
I’ve been thinking about this quote all day. Isn’t this how we should live our lives? By never lowering expectations? But instead working harder to meet those expectations… In our jobs, in school, in activities, in loving one another….shouldn’t we work harder?
I love my Amor family. They are so uplifting. They never talk you down or discourage you. They let you know by their actions and words that they are always behind you. I love my new-found family. Now, they are “Cra-Cra”….but that only makes me love them more.
